Another Newbie Tube Question...

Post by Bg »

Though I don't consider myself a newbie, only just noticed theres a little gain pot on the back of the Jansen 50, is that like a regular gain control? Never fiddled with it before....
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Unfortunately yes, it must be all the way up and then jiggle it a little more. Oh yeah.

It's pre amp gain

I still havn't fiddled with mine much, but it makes a huge difference to how the amp interacts with different ODs and the such. It's not a very 'XTREME' control though
