I'd like two things:
some sort of looper.. really like the look of the jamman jml2
some cash to pay for some sort of looper.. really like the look of NZ or US currency.

He's unlikely to get a Jamman for $10 US.Jenesis wrote:Tenuous.

Funny how the word 'haggle' is so close to 'haggis'.Jenesis wrote:I'm sure he'd try to haggle it down from that anyway.

GASing for the Yamaha bass I'm bidding on right now...first time I've not used Buy Now in a while. This auction thing is exciting.
P.S. piss off if you're thinking of buying it.

Gasing for one of these : Fender American Deluxe Strat HSS http://www.sweetwater.com/guitargallery ... S11011963/
They seem versatile and reasonably priced. I'm always paranoid about how such an item would be handled in transit though?

Fenders travel really well in international shipping. Build like a 57 Chevy, the only thing to do is slacken off the strings and ensure no banging or chaffing within the case - both of which are no brainers for a reputable online retailer. The journey from say LA to NY is no different to LA to AKL - just a longer pause between baggage handlers,Clanger wrote:Gasing for one of these : Fender American Deluxe Strat HSS http://www.sweetwater.com/guitargallery ... Re: What are you gassing for?
I can totally vouch for Sweetwater's shipping. They use Fed Ex, and everything's very well packed, and it's lightning quick. I got my Strat through them and have also got several pedals, three other guitars for friends, some home recording gear and a pedaltrain through them and I've never had a problem. And I'm saying this despite the fact that I manage a NZ retail store and it's basically the worst thing I could be telling you from that point of view. What can I say, I call it as I see it. If you're going to import (and you shouldn't because you should support local and blah blah etc etc), you can't do much better than Sweetwater. A++, would trade again.
I've also had an American Deluxe HSS Strat, and it was a very nice guitar, very well constructed and great to play. It was a little TOO perfect for me, a bit bland and lacked a bit of character, so I eventually moved it on, but you won't be dissapointed with the quality.

Re: What are you gassing for?
While on my quest for the right 335 style gat I got in one of these:
Man it's awesome. It's a 335 thickness, but it's actually a full hollowbody (hence the trapeze tail piece). It's amazingly well finished for such a cheap guitar - only $899 retail - and super versatile. Play's like butter too. Limited edition, one of the last in the country. I really want to take it home but my wife is pretty adamant I don't need any more guitars and she's totally over my constant gassing, which I can understand. I can't even bring up the topic anymore.
So tempted to sell something, geez I could probably sell two or three pedals and get enough for this, but I really love my current pedalboard, it's pretty much perfect.
*SIGH*.

Re: What are you gassing for?
Cam, I'm not regretting anything I've sold to get my 8, i reckon when you are prepared to sell a whole bunch of stuff to get something else it shows you really want it, perhaps it's not quite right enough?
