They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

I picked this up on TM: http://digitech.com/en/products/ex-7-expression-factory

Just awaiting delivery. Has anyone had any experience with these? I figured it would be fun to play with the whammy/synth swells/wah.

I had one years ago. Fun to play with but I found the range of motion of the pedal itself was a bit shorter than ideal.

Cool, yeah that seemed to be a common complaint, though many said they got used to it. I haven't had a lot of experience with wahs and so forth so maybe ignorance is bliss will work in my favour!

Sure as hell I'm not bringing my stereo, so someone will have to bring some monitors if I do.

In the mail: Bunch of pots, wire, etc. to rewire my Les Paul.

I start out with the best of intentions hoping for something that looks like it came out of the world's finest hand-wired amps, then burn myself, melt something, swear a lot, and it takes me so long I end up tired, half-pissed and past caring.

Doing this next one out of the guitar on the Emerson mounting plate from the last one. Hopefully make for a neater job.
