When that box turns up, you'll be able to tell your missus, "I've got a great big tonker!"

Not so much 'in the mail' as 'in the boot of my car' one Soldano 412 looking nicer than the pics suggested. Also, message from the Mrs to say the CS '66 Strat has arrived. Or, more accurately, 'another bloody guitar'.... I'll see that 'another guitar' and raise it a Tele come Saturday.

That got here quick! Kerry only sent the Strat yesterday. Anyway, here's the new guitar and cab. Strat's so much nicer in the flesh than it looked in the pics. Neck feels great. Going to get my Walter Trout on later.
Crap pic I know.

Ok, I give up!
Is Walter Trout a person or is it a pommie saying (no offense meant)?
EDIT:
Google to the rescue - mystery solved.

LOL. I really like Walter Trout's playing. He's a feckin' warhorse. Just keeps gigging and gigging and plugging away. Can't say his songs leave much of an impression but I love his playing.H671 wrote:Ok, I give up!

Can't say this one's really any less portable than my Boogie 212 - OK it kind of is. Bit it's not too heavy at all. And besides, how often to I need to load my cab in the car for a gig?

Fortunately the Blankenship is great at home levels. The gear will be getting an outing this Sunday for another pub jam thing.StrummersOfThunder wrote:Nothing says 'convenient home rig' like an apartment building of high efficianncy 12" speakers.
