It's a UK made Celestion custom speaker, supposedly based on a Vintage 30.

It does have a great clean tone. I have it just on the edge of break-up. Just tried it through my 412 again. Doesn't sound as nice which I think is because it's really got to be open-back for this amp. Maybe also because running into 16ohm might make a difference (can only set the amp for 8 and 4). Shit though, it makes you critical of your guitars. Don't know if it's the clean or just the amp's transparency.

Anyway, the Bad Cat. Only every played through Steve's and then only briefly but it seemed to cover a lot of ground all of which sounded really nice. Hope you're happy with it. And they're built like tanks too, eh?
