Actually considering taking the pickups out and putting some emg's in it so i have a neck p and bridge humbucker in it.

I really need to get a P, but cant really justify it.

How much does the present Bass boost do?

It does a bit, but I usually turn it off as I'm usually trying to play punk with it and it doesnt sound natural to me, though I got it to keep up with my baritone guitar.

Ill probably not run a preamp as the emg's have their on preamp inbuilt.

Also running it digital, normally so have preamps in the HX stomp.

This is exactly my point: 100 watt amp into a 15 watt speaker and I'd never consider you a mouse!
