Re: Synth Chat
Oof. I have such severe GAS for an OBX8, but would need it to be more like 75% offjhyang549 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 9:20 am Sequential synth sale at Music Planet
Close to 25% off a Take 5 FYI.

Re: Synth Chat
How dope is the Nightsky for ambient stuff? It's pretty much the only reverb I use, these days.

Re: Synth Chat
Well dope! I only received it last night at work. ($200 off at music planet at the moment). I spent most of the night only touching the reverb level knob, whatever the setting it was on out of the box sounded so amazing with every preset on the microfreak. Ended up too scared to touch anything in case I never found it again. Curiousity won over eventually. Awesome piece of kit!

Re: Synth Chat
The sixteen factory presets give a good taste of what it offers. If you hold one of the eight preset buttons for a couple of seconds, it'll switch you to the second bank. The light will switch between orange and green to signify which bank you're on.HackSaw wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 7:28 amWell dope! I only received it last night at work. I need to try it on synth, I've only used it for guitar.

Re: Synth Chat
I figured since I had a few synthy bits I should make a stand with wood I had laying about. Tomorrow’s effort will to be sand it down and stain it. And find a spot for it, ain’t as compact as hiding them all away is!

Re: Synth Chat
I'm watching Stranger Things again with the fam. The soundtrack, combined with your post is doing nothing to quell my GAS for sumin' synthy.

Re: Synth Chat
Wow that looks incredible man!!!
IMOCD, the synth in Rabea Massad's Neural DSP Archetype does the Stranger Things thing really nicely (its even a preset) and tracks really nicely with guitar
