They will owe outrageous fees anyway from the people who have bidded as a 'joke'. I don't think TM will see the funny side of it. I think it's best just to report the auction to TM and not get implicated.

I'd never heard of Jon Toogood, so that wouldn't have tempted me. However I'd NEVER be interested in any battered guitar, no matter who owned it. The biggest turn off after battering is 'signed by' - that'd really cause disinterest to me. For me, it has to be 'nice'. I accept that 'nice' is a matter of personal taste....
