If I can sell my Elite Strat, I might go for the Cobra Blue hat trick...

That Jazz master is lovely. Like that neck binding too...
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Control knobs and a ‘Standard’ trussrod cover.

Conway, you need a Celestion Alnico Blue to go with these guitars.

New Hipshot locking tuners, a blender wiring kit from tone lounge and some Fender deluxe drive pickups for the SX Strat.

Thanks to a random burst of white noise caused by moving my helix while usb-ing... two selenium jbl drivers to replace the frazzled little things in my headrush frfr's. If it happens again, I can replace the diaphragms for cheaps. And they should be a step up in quality....
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Well its good news with respect to being able to deafen neighbours again Bad news that I had to fork out 200 bucks for them but they're supposed to be sonically way better than the original hf drivers....

A quad with low sensitivity speakers isn't really that loud. We've become so used to high wattage 100db sensitivity speakers in one and two 12" enclosures that I think we tend to forget.rickenbackerkid wrote:haha. i might just become that asshole with the 4x12. or I might not like it and sell it onBg wrote:Nah all the soundguys will tell you to not plug it in You should knowrickenbackerkid wrote:in the mail (or more accurately, being picked up by my sister) a dirty ole Marshall 4x12. Needs some work, but i love a project, and every guitarist seems to that at one point in your life, you need to own a hulking big, screaming loud 4x12 cabinet. I'm playing some nice big-ish theaters over 2020, so maybe I'll even get to use it!
I've recently gone back to quads after years of 2 x 12 use and am confused as to why I ever stopped using them in the first place ( other than absence of roadies )

I stopped using them because I stopped playing in a band.... it was cool for a while to have a stack in my tiny office, but....
