I'm hoping it'll be with me a long time but hey, I might not bond with it.... I've always wanted to use that for a reason I'm selling :D
I sold some glue for the same reason.

Hoping this scratches the LP itch, not sure about the baseball bat neck.
You'll get used to the girth. The "50's neck" is quite a broad term. Compared to Fender profiles, the '58 profile, etc just feels like a common Fender oval C. That's if you're used to Fender necks I guess.

I've got a Ground Control midi pedal. Going to have a play with using my eleven rack as a live amp/effects device thing.

Gibson are so bloody variable with their necks. Even guitars within the same RX line can feel so different. I guess that's historically accurate, but it's hard to know what your gonna get from a spec sheet. At least Fender necks will do what they say on the tin.

Yeah I guess when it comes to hand sanding, you'll always get variances, but you have to wonder what sort of standard they worked to in the 50's. Oh yeah, that feels about right

I always tended towards the 60's neck as I have small, girlish hands. (JB says they're the best for other things)
But lately I get a touch of cramp in them and I reckon the bigger girth will help....

I recently bought a Synesthesia from Mr Marshmallow. Great pedal, but I moved it on. In hindsight, probably too quickly though, methinks.
Got another incoming from Mr Jellybelly. This time I'll take a bit more time to get to know it.

It doesn't.

Body undrilled, pickguard in case. I approve of this.

This lockdown has found me buying weird cheap stuff off trade me.
the latest a $50 archtop and a good old Peavy Rage (my first ever guitar amp) for $20

Not expecting a lot from the guitar, but something about cheap gear is just fun.

Got some five-ten mtb shoes on the way, plus a bottle cage for my wife's bike and a new brass bell for my son's. Can't wait to get back out into the forest.
