Best Tuner
Hey guys,
I'm an electric guitarist who plays gigs at least once a week. I'm also a student and very frugal with the little money I have.
What's the best tuning solution for me? BOSS TU-2?
Cheers for the advice.

Re: Best Tuner
I have both. TU-2 is my first choice. The streaming mode is much easier to fine tune with. Pitch black is best if you're short of bucks.

Re: Best Tuner
Haven't used the Pitch Black, but that or the Boss TU-2 are both good.
I've had a TU-2 since they were first released (almost 10 years?) and its served me very well. The extra power output is actually very handy too.
TU-3 is the current model, but probably plenty of TU-2's on TradeMe. I think the 3's have brighter LED's so if you're doing daytime/outdoor gigs that would be useful.
Main difference is the PB is true bypass, the Boss is buffered (not necessarily a bad thing).
PB is cheaper new. About $125-ish?

Re: Best Tuner
KPB battery life = 5 hours. So does it only use the battery when switched on to tuning mode?

Definitely the pitch black. Small, accurate enough and cheapish.
