NTD (new tele day)
Arrival of the 85 MIJ CTl-50 tele. picked up form the postie crack of dawn this morning before work.
Quick chance to assemble, string up, jam and photograph before I head away to the airport. First impressions: plays beautifully, looks great. Pickups are ooooo-kaaay but will definitely be changed out.
Love the grain in the body. Nice thin profile neck, frets are in good order. Bit heavier than the korina tele.
happy happy

Oh ffs... what is it with this forum and Teles?!
It's having an adverse effect on me, I see that Tele you just bought and now I'm thinking "wow that's a nice Tele, maybe I should get one... maybe I should look at TM or Ishibashi for Teles....?"
I like shred sticks with EMGs and FRs, what are you people doing to me????

The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Everyone moves over to the dark side eventually, Tele's are awesome guitars, dead simple but hugely flexible

I can personally testify to a Tele's paddle effectiveness in a kayak.Lord Bg of Glencoe wrote:Don't fall into the trap, only useful for use as a canoe paddleDanger Mouse wrote:Oh ffs... what is it with this forum and Teles?!

Heading for the door
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
