Effect more than pedal. Kendrick Model1000 reverb tank. Took a little over a month to ship from Texas. I was originally keen on the trapezoid looking tweed unit they have on their website but Mr Weber said this one was ready to go. He wired it for 230 volts so I only had to rewire the power plug. Sounds fantastic, better then the Fender Reissue I had years ago. Looks like it was shipped with USA NOS tubes too. Gerald Weber was great to deal with.

I have quite a cool envelope filter that has the same problem- I used to run it with a clean boost in front , turn them both on / off together with a big hoof. Not an ideal solution (and I no longer gig with it as such).

Re: New pedals of epicness
I'm not sure it HAS "issues". Yes, it sucks up volume but it's a reverb (and a pretty massive chunk of reverb) so maybe that's not so surprising. Reverb always makes things sound a little bit far away. The annoying thing is that if I was to use this pedal in the middle of a piece, someone would have to deal with the volume drop.
Having said that, I get nothing but positive comments about the pedal.
Having said that #2, if this looks nothing like a Behringer, then... I don't really understand why the parent company is a problem.

Re: New pedals of epicness
I only recently came across the Burnley, Wessex and Harlo pedals from Bogner, Rupert Neve transformers in them, surely that should make them epic, but I couldn’t find a really good sounding demo of them.
Not even the usual Pete Thorn or Brett Kingman demos sound overly exciting…just a personal thing I guess but I was very underwhelmed by them.
