Yeah when I mean "edge of breakup" I'm talking Sultans of Swing sort of breakup. Pretty much clean.griff wrote: ↑Mon Apr 18, 2022 11:47 amInteresting. Mine works quite nice with cleans. I wonder what version equivalent he made for yourobthemac wrote: ↑Sun Apr 17, 2022 10:44 pmHad a Pepers' clone that I sold recently. Was great for crunch and heavier tones. Struggled to get it sounding right on the edge of breakup.griff wrote: ↑Sun Apr 17, 2022 5:57 pm Does the Fulltone OCD qualify here?
I personally think it does. I borrowed my friends one last weekend for a gig. Damn near perfect to boost an overdriven Plexi style Marshall. Warmth and cut.
Opened it up the next day and it's a version 4, one of the sought after ones apparently.
He's agreed to sell it to me too! Will sit nicely on the board next to Tonys Bronson.
Anyone else jam an OCD?

Re: Pedals Of Epicness
Was really looking forward to hearing this. Especially after the demos of the Golden Reverberator. https://youtu.be/qsqcyAwRpx8
Disappointed! Clean sounds and reverb aren't as nice as the Iridium (at least on the basis of this demo). Like the crunchy tones though.

I have one of these on my board now, looking forward to running it thru the Fuzzboy!

Yeah, something about this appeals a bit more. Usually I'm not a fan of digi screens on a board but...it's pretty!

This has been on John Mayer's board for the Sob Rock tour, still miss my old Neunaber Stereo Wet... one of those pedals you should never sell... still the Flint does pretty good
