Can you get daisy chains with right angled connections? I cant power the pedals on my board because there isnt enough room to fit the normal straight daisy chains in.

You can make 'em like that...that's what I did...wired up a string of 6...not as cheap as I'd hoped tho as ole Smiths Dick isn't really bargain basement pricing...

dont particularly wont to import a daisy chain from overseas. The website claims they are the only right angled daisy chain.

might as well get a 1spot adaptor as well then cause i need another one. Would justify the shipping a bit more haha.

Question the 1spot adapter can change to 240 volts automaticlly. Would i need an adaptor so it would fit our plugs though?

Onespot is awesome. Can power everything including Line6 pedals. Can be plugged straight into 240v and you can get all sorts of adapters to convert the pins. I have two of them - 9v and 12v

I just used a pair of pliers and carefully twisted the prods a little. Fits our socket fine but it does sit longways on a power board so it is no longer one "spot" (it is if you put it at the end)
Best place to buy them is on ebay. Even visual sound recomended that when i ordered my first lot of bits through them. They said they have to sell at full retail whereas ebay sell for the street price

Thepedalman sells those 1Spot daisychains on oz ebay.
I was going to buy one until i got my DC brick.

...Damn, now he seems to have done a disappearing act. I can't even find his ebay store now, lol.
But it was there, I swear

EDIT: FOUND IT! So at least I'm not crazy.

Seems he doesn't have the daisychains in stock at the moment, but maybe email him if you're interested. From memory I think they were around $15AUD

Just whilst we're on the subject of pedals/power/adaptors, will a regulated 9v power supply make a hum when running through my chain (specifically one pedal, my SD booster) like an unregulated one does? Just thinking of buying one today to complete my homemade pedalboard, which consists of an old laptop back, cardboard tray and velcro.

Probably not.
From my experience, I've run pretty much any stompbox from a regulated adapter fine, with no hum.
The problem for me is when I daisychain 2 or more pedals, I ALWAYS get ground loop hum.
That's why I bought a DC brick, I now have no audible hum at all, I totally recommend it.

Awesome, but I have a question, what are you running through it?
Just one pedal, or are you daisychaining?

I use a Dunlop Brick.
(8) 9VDC outlets and (3) 18VDC outlets.
More than enough power.
Not sure if it's available rigged for 240VAC though.

Same here, my loop hum is driving me up the wall (when I turn up the amp it sounds like a helicopter flying over the house). Where did you get your Brick from, and how much was it? Don't wanna have to go back to batteries...
