Fractal FM9!!
Just announced from Fractal, super psyched. The FM3 seemed like too much of a compromise to be an upgrade as an AX8 user. This will be worth the jump.

Re: Fractal FM9!!
Finally! And, also, bugger! I actually prefer the UX of Fractal devices, compared to Kemper.

Expecting lots of pissed off FM3 purchasers! Thankfully Moore’s law doesn’t apply to tube amps, no one will obsolete an AC10!

Re: Fractal FM9!!
Haha I'm glad I got rid of my AX8 while its resale value was still riding high from people who wanted all the extra footswitches that FM3 didn't have well I mean I didn't actually sell it, but I managed to swap it for a II XL+ which I think was a great accomplishment

Re: Fractal FM9!!
Noice! I love my FM3 for the size and portability and it’s already pretty heavy! This looks awesome but it’s not going to be light and portable. Also let’s see how long till it’s available here in NZ eh

Re: Fractal FM9!!
That's one thing that surprised me hugely when I got the Kemper Stage. It weighs four fifths of fuck all! Since the carry bag was delivered first, without the Kemper Stage, I did have a brief giggle thinking the innards would come in the third parcel

I’m loving the competition between different brands though! That’s part of the fun! Fractal vs Kemper vs QC
Excited to see what rivals come up with!

Re: Fractal FM9!!
The FM3 is still plenty for me - I don't use enough effects to push it super hard. I use it with an extension footswitch and that's enough. It means I still have room for a couple of cool pedals.

Re: Fractal FM9!!
Especially a hand wired one (i.e. no PCBs)... But actually just had a look at some gut shots and it looks pretty easy to work on so in truth hand wiring probably of little advantage.
