*** Sorted *** Time For A New Audio Interface: Recommendations Needed

Post by FuzzMonkey »

*** UPDATE *** Went with the 3rd Gen Focusrite Scarlett Solo. ***

I'm looking to update my audio interface and am wondering if you guys can recommend something based on your experiences? I'm currently using an IK Multimedia Stealth Plug I brought years ago with a copy of AmpliTube. It has served me well over the years but has developed a buzz due to its age. As a result, I thought I'd better upgrade to something better before it dies on me altogether.

I basically will be using it with a bunch of different software packages such as AmpliTube, Guitar Rig, plus a couple of other stand-alone packages and was thinking that a Focusrite Scarlett Solo might be the ticket as I only need the one instrument input but am open to suggestions.

Thanks in advance for the feedback, recommendations, and suggestions.

~ Blake.

P.S. - I'm using a PC; not a Mac.

I use my Solo with both mac and pc at times, generation 3 latency is minimal. Works great.

Arturia MiniFuse.

I just got the MiniFuse 2 and it's doing a wonderful job. Way better than the Audient I used to have.

Just received an axe io. It was cheaper if I bundled it with amplitube max for some reason. It’s good so far
