It's on now. The start date unfortunately wasn't aligned to our timezone.

There are some great Black Friday 2022 deals for impulse responses (for cabinet speaker simulation) right now as well.

ML Sound Lab and Bogren Digital have a 50% off sale right now, while York Audio are always 15-20 $USD a pack and are generally considered top-shelf.

Got to be honest, it seems like the "not to be missed, once only this fortnight" Briscoes sales are better than anything served up for Black Friday.

I dare say they’re still recovering from Covid, I’ve made some great gains in digital purchases though, feeling smug that I’m only using purchased software now… which is amusing as software developers are some of the worst pirates I’ve ever met!!

Yeah, to some extent it's covid and the wider global environment, but I feel like BF was originally a few crazy deals limited to people in the states trampling over each other to get TVs for a dollar. Now it's "whack a 10% discount on the crap we don't want" and call it BF deals. Software being different because you don't need to clear it out to make space for new stock, of course.
