Nick makes good amps.
Got my JTM45 from him in 2006 however I changed the transformers to Marstrans, the stock ones are okay though.
Doin' that scrapyard thing.

For my tastes, Marshtran and KT66s are the JTM45 special sauce.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

This was mine for a short while.

- Was built by Nick rather than a kit, the work is top notch
- It is LOUD, like louder than any of my other amps, even the 30 watters
- it sounds great, but not exactly like a Lightning. Kind of had its own thing going on which I thought was interesting.

Let me know if you have any other questions about it.

They seem to great amps that are very well made, I've owned the SSS 100w. Customer service from Nick was top notch too, no complaints and would happily purchase from them again
