A Zakk Wylde set is $198US from Guitar Centre, so I imagine that's comparable on most US sites - might be a cheaper option if you can find one that ships here for a reasonable price.
Rockshop in Lower Hutt has them for $450, although they said if I bought them and a guitar they'd fit them for free...

Im sure EMGs have quick connect. No soldering needed for their pick upsvivoce_fashion wrote:prolly best if u read the manual and buy a soldering kit , as much of a pain in the ass it'd be to master, anything that pisses u off is good for you..maybe i think..

The quick connect only works in principle if you want to swap out one EMG for another EMG [however, the new seymour duncan blackouts connect to the EMG quick connect cable apparently! smart move by SD on that one] Otherwise if you're retrofitting a guitar with EMGs you'll have to do some soldering. I recently installed an 89 in the neck of my guitar, more complicated than I first thought. Had to track down a few seperate diagrams, combine them to make my own diagram then emailed EMG customer suppourt to finally get the thing going. Sounds good though.
