SD Alnico Pro II and JB

Post by Kloppsta »

YAY! My pups arrived from the states!
Got myself some Seymour's. The Alnico Pro II for the neck (Apparently the same model Slash uses?) and a Jeff Beck JB4 for the bridge.
Im hoping they will be a good match. Anyone else out there using this setup or similar?
They are going in my "custom" LP being built by ASH, along with some Grover locking machines, TUSQ nut, Gotoh/Graphtec/Tonepro's hybrid bridge and tail peice and 500K volume/tone pots with sheilded coaxial wiring. Im getting all excited just talking about it! Can't wait for the finished product! :D
Little by little, by hook or by crook

Hey, nice one. Maybe you should ask Ash to give you phase switching on your p/ups (via say a tone knob) so you can get that Page sound goin' on...what colour are going for?

Its OK, I've sacrificed a small black ram in their honour whilst facing Nashville with the dulcet tones of Les Paul and Mary Ford drowning out the pathertic bleating of the wretched beast. I don't think there will be any trouble from their kind....

BG- I remember that movie with Edward Woodward. I thought it was a truly scary film.
He hit a chord that rocked the spinet and disappeared into the infinite ...

I watched it again a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it (got it on DVD), although parts of it are laughable - seventies fasions, britt eckland being voiced over as she couldn't do the scottish accent etc

Britt was a tasty bird, and seeing her naked was a bonus ;)
