Help with this question, pickups?

Post by Engima »

Hello :)

I am looking for someone who has had experience with Washburn ceramic humbuckers (421 and 423).
I have found some cheap, ($60nzd) and I was wondering whether or not you think they are any good?
I am building a new guitar on a limited budget, and some help from someone more experienced would be great :)

Thank you for your time.

doesn't sound particularly cheap to me, that's about the right price.

probably no better than most 'stock pickups' and they're probably even the same as a lot of them

Would they be suitable though? Im doing the build for the experience, the new guitar, and to have a guitar I can really call my own. This one doesnt need to be top notch, I just want some pick ups that wont sound terrible.

Thank you very much for helping :)

D: Then id have a giant hole in my pick guard lol :) And in the body! I think I might go with them anyway, just for the mean time. It comes with heaps of other parts I need as well, more than $60 worth.
