Got It overseas so I'm not sure about the warranty but at least it sounds like it's just the wires so it shouldn't cost too much to fix.

Well, you can kiss the warranty goodbye unless you plan to ship it back for the repair. If you can't find a local repairer, PM me and we can arrange something.
