Anyone here know much ablout bill Lawrance pickups? Ive got a set of L500's (I think) that I got without hearing, any comments?

Which sort are they? Bill & Becky or BLUSA? If you need help verifying, pm me with a pic or something I can help you out. Since 1964 got the boot I guess I'm the most slightly in the know person about these buggers.

cream coloured humbucker looking with a single 'blade' running/protruding.,., any ideas> I was thinking of puting them in an old tele ive got, do you know if they can become spilt coils?

the humbuckers (xl 500 as used by dime and nuno bettencourt) are hell :twisted: ish....awesome for shredding and chunky rhythms...also amazing with a clean tone and a phaser...really spooky sound...very goth

Weren't those "Bill Lawrence designed" ones he worked on while making pickups for Gibson?
