invader q... (agaaain...)

Post by dclxvi »

i just nabbed a seymour duncan invader neck pos. hb for cheap as, how rubbish is this gonna sound if i decided to biff it in the bridge? i know they're wound with less output than the bridge model, but im sure it'll still fare better than the ibanez ah-2 i'll be replacing... good or bad idea?

on the other hand, what'd be another ideal choice for a matching bridge pup, aside from the obvious path of another invader...?

this guitar only really needs one sound, mind you.... total deazzzzzzzzz!

I don't think it would fare tht well in the bridge. Match it with something high output, another invader would probably be the best. Or an X2N or something. Actually, I have a D-sonic lying around if you're interested. I bought it to try it out, but never got around to it, you can do it for me then :P

Did you ever get a pickup for this? I've got a Duncan designed Invader for bridge, that has no home if your interested..

The HB-108 is called the Detonatorâ„¢ and is based on the high-output, Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader
