Is it just me? or does POD farm come with extra stuff that isn'y on the XT.

Maybe I was overlooking some things but the preamps etc are great... I think they are part of a different mode?

Had a quick play last night and got better sounds than I was getting from the box... having it on screen helped a lot.

BG Cubase wise, I am running dry signal with Pod farm as FX plugin

I could only process audio once I had recorded the track clean. While this gets ok results, like many peeps, I tend to play to the tone I'm getting in terms of pick attack etc/.

I may just need to spend more time... but as a quick solution, is it possible to hear the effected sound without recording first? is something to do with the routing, busses etc?

haven't got much time to think about it at the mo... but what I do is record the dry sound but monitor through headphones in the XT while recording so I hear an effected sound which I may or may not use in the end result as you can share patches between gearbox and pod farm. You set the routing up for that - at work so obviously can't remember the specifics of the routing, but its a piece of cake.

Does that make sense?
