I prefer this version though....there is something haunty and hot about it, but I can't put my finger on what it is

yeah, I saw that too, I think I need to add a twin harp attack to the band
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

I was around at my local luthier to get the LP checked out (tuning heads needed work, other than the intonation on 2 strings was allgood), and he showed me this video.
At one point, David says, "Watch his right hand here."
I reply, "I can't! The camera can't keep up!"

Don't know how many of you saw this film when it came out. Let's say that there's been (AFAIK) no DVD release and somebody has FINALLY uploaded it to YouTube. Best biopic about a concert pianist EVER.

A couple of the interviews are in French but most of the movie is in English.

Re: YouTube goodness
Like if Jimmy Page played along on the Dead Man soundtrack. Or something like that, but it's pretty awesome anyway.
