I assume we're talking about Georges Strat quack. Middle and Bridge through a clean amp with chorus - that's about as bad as it gets for me. Reminds of of most of the buskers in Wellington. Claptons wasn't so bad though. Nice to hear him with an LP.

It sounds pretty overly compressed to me too. Horrid tone.

Interesting Rig Rundown of Johnny Winter's setup on PremierGuitar at the moment, http://www.premierguitar.com/Magazine/I ... inter.aspx. He completely dials out the bass and mids on his amp so it's all treble
