Noisy/Sloppy

Quick questions that's probably pretty simple to answer.

I've noticed when playing licks that involve bending, it's not very clean. For example, a really basic lick:

Tab didn't work so well, but you get the idea.

Anyway, I've noticed that after I bend the 7 on the G string and release it to play the 7 on the B string, I get the G string ringing out.

Solution to fixing that?

Mute it with your right thumb when you pick the last note or mute it with a spare finger of the left hand.

Ok that seems like a good idea. Is that a technique that will work for fast playing?

Play the last note with your pinky and mute the g with the finger that played it.

another option anyway
