time to thin the herd for some gas. He seems to be big in the Asian guitar scene.

Why in the name of Christ Jesus would you pay $1000 for a single pedal?

Even if it was the Zemaitis of pedals as these seem to be.

Not my money, of course, but you could celebrate with a $100 cheesesteak.

Seriously, $1000? Like the steak, it sounds like a clever ruse. If you charge enough for something, someone will go apeshit trying to buy it.

Man, I love a good Philly cheesesteak with some Jalepeno chopped in. Heaven and heart attack all at once.

As they say charge that little bit more and the hipster will buy it. :P
It comes back to the age old question about why we pay what we do for anything in guitar land. There are people out there who $1000 pedal is just another item on the pedal board.
