Probably rare, vintage and collectable now!
And still ugly AF!!
That looks very much like a Peavey version of my Ibanez BC9 (without looking it up) Dual oscillators, so both of the stereo outputs are wet. (Grrr)
No one ever died of hard work.. but why take the risk..

I always find chorus adds a bit of depth and movement to your sound, sure it can be overused but as a subtle effect its wonderful :-)

In any case, I made this video to help people compare and contrast every single BOSS chorus ever made... so please watch and hopefully it helps in your tone questing!

Having watched that, I know why my CH-1 lives in a drawer. It's the pastel version of Boss Chorus..
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Always really loved a good analog chorus sound. Have built CE2 and Clone theory clones, CE2 (with mods) prolly my all time favourite. Currently use a TC Nova Modulator on the gigg'n board with clean digi-chorus. Lil bit of modulation helps keep the guitar interesting in long covers sets

No, they don't. They were just as good at Vector a few years back - Hookys bass lines were played and played well. There is room for New Order and Peter Hook & The Light (they're shit without Barney).

Hoping the current New Order/PSB tour somehow ends up here.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Didn't his style originate from a crappy bass that would only play in tune at the 12th fret? Seem to remember that from his book 'Hacienda".
