Powermetal keyboard is epic...thehenderson wrote:I've always thought piano to be very metal, i.e. all the rapsody, sonata arctica, dream theater, even stuff like nightwish. All that kinda speedy metaly stuff about pirates and eastern mythology, lots of vikings and stuff
hehe, all have epic piano
Raj's BLS pics, not really 56k friendly.

Yep, valid point made. I'm totally with you on the idea of hearing zakk do something a bit diff. But I think if he did diversify it'd be through a separate side project, which probably won't happen considering how BLS is taking off now days.slash-ed wrote: I'm sure you've heard the PnG stuff right... that's what I mean. Not playing like Steve Vai (I doubt he could anyway![]()
) or anyone else... just diversifying his stuff based on what his influences are already anyway.
Besides... Zakk *and* Black Label don't play that sorta music... Zakk plays it, and Catanese n gang just do as he says
LOL - yes cantanese and gang know their place

- But if they have side projects too if you're keen to look those up.
Here's one of three videos that'll I'll be putting up.

More HairMetal than the average Bear!
Where's the 5 string banjo player or the hippy girl in a long dress playing autoharp??? typical!!! you stay away from folk clubs for 5 mins and EVERYTHING changes - LOL.
Slightly more serious thought is I wonder how they control feedback with that level of amps - most guitars have a slight microphonic thing but at 500 watts plus it must be hard to stop - would assume a noise gate of some sort.

You can't do THAT on stage!

I don't understand what the world's coming to when he did that and he never got hit by at least 20 plastic bottles filled with urine... things have changed since I were a lad.Zakk Wylde wrote: BG, and TMG, hence the piano during the gig. Its pretty crazy but I dont know may people that could do that in the middle of a metal gig and not get pelted with beer.
It would have been a waste of beer

At the very least it should have been a screaming Hammond Organ as per Jon Lord...
Its not enough that we succeed, we still need others to fail
