Bluetooth Pageturner
I play in a jazz big band and need a page turner to navigate through the charts on iPad, trying to move out of paper lol. Anyone have experience using one of these for this purpose please?
Of course the secondary use is for any iOS apps .
My searching so far has yielded:
Xsonic airstep (apparently one pedal to rule them all)
Airturn BT500S-4
X-VIVE

Would this be foot operated?

Re: Bluetooth Pageturner
OnSong atm, I also have iReal Pro (highly recommended for jazz chord charts), but have used OnSong for years and its been very good.
Normally I use the auto scroll feature to scroll the song, but with big band charts, you need to navigate back to sections for repeats and endings etc.
Hence I need the pedal to cue up the tune and then walk through the pages as required.

Did you get one in the end? We're starting to do a few more arrangements and I need to follow charts properly for a change . Last few new songs are 5 pages each, a blutoot turner pedal would be handy now.bobiron wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 9:09 am I play in a jazz big band and need a page turner to navigate through the charts on iPad, trying to move out of paper lol. I got the M-Vave Chocolate 4 button thing in the end, seems to work with lots of different things, although I have yet to config it for Unsong. The software seems good.Cdog wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 7:29 amDid you get one in the end? We're starting to do a few more arrangements and I need to follow charts properly for a change . I use Onsong and the Firefly below for every gig. Has never let me down. Had an AirTurn one before that, which did let me down!
Takes double A's or you can plug into usb which is great to have both options.
