8:04 for a few seconds sounds like gibberish jazz, but yeah, classy + tight but with a bit of naughty + loose for good measure.

I’ll have to check him out, haven’t came across him before. When I think of a Tele and jazz it’s Ted Greene that comes to mind for me. He was a beautiful player and probably one of the first guys I heard doing touch harmonics. A shame he didn’t release much material during his life but worth checking out if you like Lage

I know of Greene; very influential as a teacher and author.
Bickert did some sessions with Paul Desmond, which I recommend.
