Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
Ordered this through the custom shop to get the specs I wanted. Best Strat I've ever played. I really like the relic job, but understandably it's a bit of a marmite thing.

How can I be sure I'm here?

Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
Oooo Fender HM strat and an Adrian Smith Jackson, two guitars I'd love to own!
If we're doing "strats" I guess I can add this thing. Ibanez RG440, I've owned it since I was 14, so not that far from 40 years. A Trigger's Broom though, only the body, scratch plate, tuners and knobs are original.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll spend thousands on fishing equipment he'll use for a bit, then get bored and move onto something else.

Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
I have replaced the springs, saddles and trem bar already. Going to rewire the guitar to have 250k on the singles and 500k on the hb with a superswitch. Also tempted to do pickups and put lockers on it...

Good lord! That thing is gorgeous! Almost a McCready/ Gallagher Strat hybrid! Love it!
Any pics of the back / Neck?
Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
I'm always curious about custom shop super heavy relics, and how they decide the particular wear pattern. Do they give you some reference examples to choose from or do you just find out once it's done?

Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
I ordered mine through Casino Guitars in the U.S. They were really good and asked a lot of questions about what I was after. As far as the wear, I asked for something similar to Mike McCready's.

Re: Show us your Stratocasters!
I was stoked with how it turned out. I was after a McCready style strat.
