Fun photo. On the left is nitro from the can a couple of weeks ago. On the right is the same nitro from the same can, but mixed in the jar and left in partial sunlight for a year.

I completed the nitro clear coat one week ago today. Waiting for it to dry... one week feels like an eternity already!

Looks like it's aging well! Which supplier is this nitro from?

It's PPG, the 262 Speedlac.

Will reply to your DM when I get time to do it justice!

I can see my humidity slipping past the window of opportunity...and yet another year rolls on and my personal backlog of refin work sits there. Sigh.

Don't you have a new barn? How about a small room that you keep permanently dehumidified for the duration of these jobs?

I need to move everything to the new barn…will do over winter. Plus, I, ah, cough, have filled up one side with a new little car.

A specific room would be great, but a luxury.

You need some kind of tent you could put up for spraying, I'd be happy to help you with an erection in your barn!
How can I be sure I'm here?
The pills that I've been taking confuse me...

I think you really need to make the effort to sort out your spraying situation. How else are you going to paint guitar bodies for us in the middle of winter for $100? :-)
