Unveiled on the pervious page, hopefully not too much of a disappointment. If I've learnt anything I will hold onto this one
Hopefully. If I've learned anything it's that cycling guitars just brings you back to where you were. In the mean time, the energy put into the whole business is wasted energy that might more usefully be spent playing / learning.

Agreed, I think I'm now at the age where I recognise that anything that I like for whatever reason I probably should hang onto it. Even more so if it's worth a bit and can be kept int the family and passed to the kids when I'm gone. I do still enjoy the thrill of the chase - the whole process of acknowleging there's something that I want, saving up for it and then trying to track it down
Cheers mate, noted. You'll be the second person I will phone after Grant

Reminds me of Gary Moore's other 59 burst called Stripe (which was actually a better sounding guitar than Greeny and the one he didn't sell)
Yeah maybe a little, not a bad LP to be compared to. Wonder if I have also double black's

Well I guess here is the reveal. FWIW I wanted to switch out the bridge to an ABR-1, that arrived yesterday but annoyingly it’s not a simple drop on. So I’ve now had to order a set of posts and thumbwheels
Posts and thumbwheels arrived… and they don’t fit. The posts are just a touch too large. Initially I wasn’t a fan of the current bridge with its black graphite saddles, but it has grown on me and I almost think it adds to the look and appeal of this one
The posts did drop straight onto the Greco, so I’ve thrown the ABR-1 onto there for the meantime
