Yeah, from steve carr himself! A really important part of the whole 'boutique amp' thing, I'm sure.

I suddenly understand the attraction of boutique amp stuff. I guess it takes a bit of owning of other production stuff and older stuff to appresiate it?

I just got a sovtek... YAY!

I guess this means there will be electro-harmonix pedal's coming back from hongkong to match the amp... nano muff, metal muff and an a-b switchblade...

For some reason i feel like i should go buy a fur hat with a star on it...

it aint wee... the thing weighs more than greece! Some douche down at holden HQ (hehe, get it, cause the hq is a CAR aswell... ugh im so alone) said "hey buddy, i dont think our amps are solid enough!"

to which some dude replied "good point, lets tear some transformers outta the ground around suburbia and use those to power it!"

"great idea"

bastards...

but seriously, great amp :)

Well, the russian is definitely loud... MIG comes highly recommended if you like nice sounding dirt. Guitar, amp cabs and earplugs is all that's required. No distortion pedals needed :-) Holden is / will be a lot cleaner as soon as i sort out the pots on it. You'd be surprised how hard it is to find 1M log taper pots of appropriate wattage...

no worries mate, I just didn't want to appear too rude  any normal week would have been very cool! But I get edgy before a gig, espec. when we don't know any of the songs and I can't remember the words, and I'm a can short of a six pack :D

So, did it sound good? I've had my eye on those whenever they come up on TM, they're about the size of a Crate, nice and light....
