or if you have no option but to apply it by hand:

borge,

you links that you have attached are awesome but its not very applicable in NZ. you cant get those aerosol cans (you cant get them to ship by air or sea) and i dont think nitrocellulose is even allowed in NZ anymore?

stratkid: you tint it with the colour of your choice. yeah, go with the shell pink :o

Looks more like he chopped up six or seven different coloured Strats and nailed random pieces together.

go to wairau paints, 90 wairau rd. ph 4433430 they will mix any colour you want. take a sample they will match it. if your doing a solid colour you will need 3 cans of nitro lacquer 1 undercoat 1 topcoat colour and 1 can of clear. they will mix your colour and put it into cans for you. 4 coats undercoat let it dry, cut back 4 top coats and 2 clear, let it dry, lite sand then 4 cear let dry cut and polish its abit more complicated than it sounds you will need to do some research on drying times between coats and sanding etc hope this helps

Go the Surf Green! Awesome colour. Although I always called it Sea Foam Green, or is that a different colour?

Either way, any of those 60's pastelle colours look great. Daphne Blue is also nice.
Nothing to see here.
