Guitarist Wellington looking for band/experience

Heyas,

I'm a 24 yo m lead kinda guitarist looking for band experience. I've been playing on and off for 10years but only seriously for about 2. I've been in 1 band before and I have very gig-able gear and a slight case of GAS

A covers band that gigs is where I'd like to start but I'd love to end up doing originals ( once I've learned all my theory ) , with either inexperienced players in a similar position as me or even players that are willing to put up with a newbie and show him some cool moves.

I'm very dedicated and know that I want to play guitar for the rest of my life, so I will put all my best efforts and spare time in to a band.

Oh, and influences range from Classic Hard Rock (Zeppelin, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Halen) to Modern Rock/Grunge to Classic Metal (Sabbath, Maiden), but I also like to dabble in other genres.

Hi, I'm in a similar position, I play bass guitar, have been for the last 6 years on and off, I'm wanting to join a band with musicians like yourself, I have my own gear, and have would like to create original music as to just playing covers.
