New toys! PRS and LP goodness.

Post by sopachrga »

So I just got a couple of new toys!
A PRS Custom22 and a Les Paul Studio.
The PRS has had the pickups changed to a Bareknuckles VHII and a Mississippi Queen Humbucker sized P90.
And the Rotary switch has been replaced with a toggle switch.

The LP is stock.

I want to look at finding a replacement rotary switch to put it back to normal and replace the pickups as I don't really like these ones. They are a good rock pickup but I want something that sounds good with high gain.

Sweet, let me know how you get on too, the McCarty switching would also be cool.
I just think the toggle switch looks ugly, but probably more useful.

Jeez, we need to stop copying each other's gear. First I buy a JCM900, then you buy a PRS.

I guess now I need to buy a Mesa...

No! Dammit... I don't need to spend that kinda money :D Hopefully after the Spider Valve goes through a mighty 4x12" tomorrow it'll convince me that I don't neeed a new amp.

But I still want one. Dammit.
