Octobinarium Chaotic Defuzzulator

Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

Re: Octobinarium Chaotic Defuzzulator
after having a bit of a play through the OCD... im loving it (yeah bring on the golden arches )
a very unique sounding pedal, has a few different quirks i spose you could call them, can get some cool stuff happening with it, next gearfest should be interesting, put it against Genesis' Wolf Computer
cheers again Rocklander

Re: Octobinarium Chaotic Defuzzulator
its just a straight line in to the computer and 128kbps to get it under the upload limit, not that i should be worried about bitrate too much when recording 8bit fuzz

That enclosure reminds me of old skool supermarket security cameras.

That looks the goods in that housing. I'm really keen to see what your ideal pedalboard/rig would look like...

i was wanting a Steampunk looking contrapulation, and i think using a touch lamp base worked

centre being the stompswitchJenesis wrote:So what are the controls on that mammajamma?
clockwise from toggle switch
which is Kaos on/off not that its not chaotic with it off, just adds more chaos
Freak , frequency, basicly gets the self oscilation from a slow thud thud thud... up to an ear peircing squeal(the very
end of soundclip where i fade it out
Irritate, sensitivity
out jack
power LED
in jack
Thrash, threshold, this and the irritate seem to control self oscilation
Volume, self explainatory
i've design it with the in/out jacks to be the front as it will be sitting behind other pedals on my board but attached to pedals in front, hence seeming backwards
it seems to react to how its played differently, gets i nice kinda wallop when chugging
