Re: Show Us Your Guitar
Dan, please don't leave your LP sitting on the headstock like that! You're asking for breakage.

Re: Show Us Your Guitar
In first pic it is. The guitar is resting on the back of the headstock and the heel of the body, with no support in the middle.
Nice lookin paul by the way.

Re: Show Us Your Guitar
The first pic? It's sitting on its back mate. If you mean the headstock closeup, then it was resting on the pickup selector/neck?. I'm pretty careful with my guitars and it definitely wasn't dangerous, not to mention that guitar is built like a rock!bbrunskill wrote:In first pic it is. In the first pick you can see that the body at the heel joint is up off the deck. The tip of the headstock is supporting it. The only trouble with doing that is if someone steps on it or drops something on it. I take pics of my gats like that, but would sure as hell never leave them unattended like that.
Love the gold top though. How's the upgrade working for you? Worth it?

Oh shit! I didn't even notice this. Haha, was wondering what everyone was going on about. Sorry bbrun.benderissimo wrote:danrawkz wrote:The first pic? It's sitting on its back mate. The upgrade was 100% worth it! The guitar itself pre-modification was decent on its own (the guitar really took me by surprise when I bought it) but after mods it plays/sounds like a guitar 4-5 times its value no doubt.

Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.
