Be honest, isn't this pretty or what?? and it's up for sale! the very first dragon series, and this is number 1!
of course there were the prototype dragons which might be worth more..
and who would want a guitar that's been inscribed with someone else's name?
i know i wouldn't mind
Is the Dragon II the read one with the dragon on the body? If so I like that one!
Still that is a nice guitar not worth the money though, get a Brazlian ltd McCarty.
That statement isn't quite as unreasonable as it may seem. Despite companies like PRS and Hamer making superior guitars for years, it wasn't until the Dragon was released that people started to buy the concept of guitar-jewellery.
So who is the third of the big three, anyway?
Fender, Gibson and.....

Gretsch? Martin? Rickenbacker?
Beats me who the other is. Not Gretsch, they are just Jap copies branded Gretsch and sold for rediculous money. Rickenbacker don't have a custom shop either and the business is a joke as far as production goes. I don't think we are talking acoustics.
Don't really like it - body or neck. I quite like the PRS body shape, but I don't like that green (or teal, or whatever it's supposed to be called ) - And the dragon down the neck is a bit much for me.

I really like it actually - though I would think it would look better with pickup covers. Not so sure about the gold hardware - but the colour, finish and of course the neck are definitely cool!
Paul Reed Smith says he got into guitar building because he desperately wanted a guitar with a cool dragon inlayed into it. It took about 15 years for the Dragon model to finally come about.
I definitly think the gold is a bad match to the teal colour. I like the later ones more, but they're all a bit overdone for my tastes.
Surely these days PRS is one of the big three!?!?
Thats not what this guys means though. Maybe Ibanez? They have a USA Custon Shop of sorts and a massive following...
