Very cool ESP George Lynch ! is it an original or a reissue ?
Original model. Heavy as heck after jamming on it for an hour or so!

Here is the honeyburst Les Paul Classic I got last year.

It took a bit of getting used to as far as fretting goes.
It puts alot a nice tone.

Posted this in the wrong place before, so breaking all the rules and reposting here ;)

This is a gat I put together using a Realtone body, wilkinson trem, Rio Grande pickups (Railgunner in the bridge and Bladerunner's in the neck and middle) all sourced from http://www.guitarparts.co.nz. The neck is an early 80's Ibanez RG neck. I may be swapping the neck for a Strat-type neck though, I shall decide when I get it...

There are always two things that impress me in this thread, the quality of guitars and the setups. This is as close as I get to watching pr0n at work..

The Rio's are fantastic. I'm a Dimarzio-aholic, but these Rio's certainly exceeded my expectations. They are super quiet but pretty decent output, and do the Strat thing really well. I'm very impressed. Although I am told that these particular models aren't very available in NZ.

I don't prefer it over the silverburst, mostly im not a big fan of the EMG's after using them for a bit. They sound hollow and lifeless, and dont seem any ballsier than my passives. The additional 2 frets are useless cause you cant reach them. The neck I have a love hate relationship with. Its a thinner neck closer to that of a strat, and its painted matte black instead of gloss, which means your thumb slides over it easier. However because i play mostly with a rock grip (i know its bad, im a terrible person) the bottom of the neck is kind of sharp and cuts into my hand a little. The volume knob is in a great position for swells, and is grippy unlike the regular les paul knobs, but theres only one volume and one tone knob, which makes the pickup selector almost useless.

Thats my mini review. :) It looks AWESOME though haha.
