Auckland Family Blues Explosion!

Auckland Family Blues Explosion is an initiative to raise awareness about musical expression and family interaction through the spirit of blues. This family orientated festival is set to become an iconic bi-annual event.

Billy T K Jnr, Darcy Perry, Stingray and Glen Campbell, Bullet, Midnight Blues Band, Los Diablos and the NZ school of Rock Jnr Blues Band, all come together for one awesome afternoon at Aucklands’ most popular destination venue – The Kings Arms.

All proceeds go to Bringing Music to Families / Kids Come First Barnardos New Zealand and 0800WHATSUP (What’s Up) - New Zealand’s largest telephone helpline for children and young people.

Catch the BLUES bus to Auckland.

Bus will leave Hamilton at Midday Aug 16th & take you to The Kings Arms in Auckland for 8 hours of driven blues.

Lucky You guys.... what a great show it will be :D

We are blues starved in the 'Naki. I havn't seen a blues band since the 'bat gammon club closed. :(

Did I read it wrong, or does it say it's a family oriented event but then you get free Bourbon on entry? Sounds like a recipe for sweet sweet child abuse
