OK - ignore my previous question about where you're playing etc...
I'll see you on the 9th Oct in Hamiltron...I have a sneaking suspicion that night is going to be vastly colossal....

Does anybody have any idea what stage time is likely to be for The Bedford tonight? I'm coming in from out of town and don't want to be hanging around for hours like I was when I went to see Airbourne at The Jetset Lounge.
I'm assuming tickets will be sold on the door?
anyway, just a wild shot to see if anybody has some general knowledge about this place (I see they prefer sound check after 6pm so I can't see it being an early start)

Re: Head Like A Hole and Luger Boa - tour begins tomorrow
That was a fun gig last night, looked like all the bands were having a good time as well.
Luger Boa were very tight and it hung together extremely well, I'm sure there was an in joke about an effects pedal or setting at one point. The choice of last encore was a good one, suiting the vocals and the audience very well.
I've never really listened to Head Like A Hole before but they were good as well, and they definitely seem to fall into the "icon" category judging by the audience response. For such a "punk" outfit they had a very clear and easily heard guitar tone, at least when the Tele was being played, less so with the Dean V.
My only minor gripe would be that the PA was too loud and distorted for the venue, and I'll be taking ear plugs next time I go and see a band there.
Glad I went though.
