Re: New Deftones Tracks
The track I heard is pretty mean - heavy as and the most metal sounding from them since Adrenaline.
Im a huge fan but must admit theyve been slinging the same wares soundwise and songwise for a while now - time to switch it up and bring something new i rckon.
Yip, their cover of No Ordinary Love is mean, as is their cover of Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd!

I'm not sure. There was mention of him changing his whole setup, but AFAIK he is still using the JMPs. This is the only stuff I can find, and it's fairly recent:badmotor wrote:Tied some Googling, does anyone know if Stephen is till using JMPs?

I have NEVER come across anyone who was had anything negative to say about Abe's drumming. His snare ghost notes are unbelievable !
Good to hear Stef using the 8 string again

Pretty cool on a first listen. Fucking awesome the second time! I have no idea how in the hell he gets that sound out of a JMP-1. Absolutely crushing!badmotor wrote:

Love how Steph shows us all his effx/cabs/preamp/switches/gats etc and then adds how simple his setup is haha.
