low gain dirt?

Post by Ironbird13 »

lately i've been finding myself needing some really low gain dirt, my Double Muff just has too much even when turned right down
what recommendations are there for this? im wanting it just off clean (so i can "pick" and it sounds clean, then "strum" and it gets a lil dirty)
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

You need a Tubescreamer or tubescreamer-esque pedal.

does it boost the volume though?
dont want to increase the volume too much when i turn it on...
could be keen though, unfortunatly as im currently unemployed (got totally shafted by my boss after surgery..."i assumed you resigned..." )and cant get a benifit either

so have no cash, but am willing to trade the Double Muff for the right pedal...

well it's got a volume pot, so you can set it to wherever you want, but it's cool.. not going anywhere in a hurry... just happen to have it.

Definitely burn him down, I reckon. Just make it look like he started it himself, for twice the fun.

Welcome back man, all the best with the job hunt.
