Well unlike some, I don't automatically think "Great, lets illegally download it right now" - I'm well aware of the possibilities. Thought there might have been a fan competition to win it, but what I realise I saw was a link to pre-order it when you buy the single on iTunes.

New Deftones album sounds sick! I am glad to hear that they are still able to write killer songs.

Re: New Deftones Tracks
I actually really like(d) Saturday Night Wrist.. 'Beware' is one of their best songs I reckon, and there's some other goodies on there. Self Titled was more hit and miss but still some amazing tracks like Minerva... and even Anniversary of an Uninteresting Event (which is clearly Mogwai influenced!)
Chino's obsession with shoegaze/triphop/Mogwai/effects pedal madness etc extends into Team Sleep aswell - and I just love it! Seems like he's afforded more freedom of creativity than in Deftones (Stephen keeps pushing for the 8 string brutal metal stuff while Chino's always more of an indie/alt-rocker at heart - causing alot of tension around the Selftitled era).
Have any of you guys heard an album called 'Division of Labor' by a hardcore band called Codeseven? If you like proper post-hardcore/epic/melodic-yet-heavy Deftones - seek this out!

I like that mix of dreampop and heavy stuff. That's what makes them so awesome, imo.
Team Sleep are very good indeed...must get more of their stuff...

Re: New Deftones Tracks
Yeah, without all the indie/dreampop influence they'd just be another ping pong ball kick drum metal band.
